AI and automated decision-making notice
HANDLET LIMITED ("Handlet") uses AI to help trade businesses handle messages, quotes, summaries and, where switched on, phone calls.
What this means
- Handlet may draft, sort, summarise or suggest actions using AI models and the rules set for your workspace.
- You are responsible for checking AI output before you use it, and for switching on automation only where it suits your business and is lawful for your customers.
- Where the call assistant is switched on, callers must be told they are speaking with an AI assistant, and any recording or transcription notice must match your settings and your legal duties.
Automated decisions
Handlet is designed so that decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people are not made by AI alone. Human review, eligibility checks and owner settings are built into the product.
Auto-Send is off until you switch it on for a task. Where it is on, Handlet records Auto-Send activity in an audit log.
Where data protection law gives you the right, you can challenge an automated decision or ask for a person to review it. Email privacy@handlet.ai or use the Privacy rights form. Your workspace settings control which automation is on.
AI providers
The AI and voice providers Handlet uses are listed on our Subprocessors page and covered by our Data Processing Addendum. Before certain AI processing, personal data is minimised or redacted on Handlet's own infrastructure.
